GLASGOW'S most wanted criminals have been revealed.

The thugs, who are wanted for violent crimes, have evaded police for years with officers carrying out global searches in the hopes of tracking them down.

However, the men miraculously seem to fly under the radar with many suspected to be linked to high-ranking underworld officials who keep them well hidden.

Here's a list of Glasgow's most wanted men and their crimes.

Glasgow Times:

Derek Ferguson

Police have been hunting for the 58-year-old for 15 years. He’s wanted in connection with the murder of dad-of-three Thomas Cameron.

Mr Cameron, who went by Tam, was shot dead in the car park of the Auchinairn Tavern on June 28, 2007.

It’s understood the 49-year-old left the bar to speak with two men when one pulled out a gun and shot him around 7pm.

Glasgow-born Ferguson is now believed to be living in Spain with criminal allies and is expected to be using an alias.

He’s described as being around 5ft 2in in height, white, with brownish-grey hair which is balding and green/blue eyes.

Glasgow Times:

Rezgar Zengana

The Iraqi national posed as a taxi driver on Argyle Street on December 10, 2006, where he picked a woman up and drove her to a house where he raped her.

He was convicted of the offence but vanished before he could be sentenced.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance with black hair and around 5ft 9in in height.

Glasgow Times:

Jonathan Kelly

Kelly, from Drumchapel, cut off his tag and went on the run in 2014 after breaching strict bail conditions.

The dangerous thug had been in jail for paralysing a person with a machete and a baseball bat.

He continued to rack up a string of assaults while behind bars, including attempting to gouge out the eyes of a prison guard.

The offences he was convicted of included assault to severe injury and danger of life, robbery, assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement, breach of the peace and having a sharply pointed implement in prison.

It’s thought he was hidden by drug dealers in Edinburgh before fleeing to Spain although he also has links to both Dublin and London.

He is described as 5ft 9in with a heavy build, blue/grey eyes, short brown hair, a Scottish accent, and occasionally has a beard. He also has scars on the left and right side of his face, on his arms and his right hand.

Glasgow Times:

James and Barry Gillespie

The two brothers have been wanted by Police Scotland for around nine years in connection with their believed links to organised crime.

However, the pair, who originally hail from Rutherglen, are no longer officially featured on the most wanted list.

The reason for this is, while they are still described as being “at large”, it’s thought the pair may have come to harm abroad.

Officers confirmed earlier this year that the search for the duo had gone as far as the Netherlands and Brazil.

It’s long been rumoured the pair could have been killed as long as four years ago.

Police have urged anyone with information to get in touch via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
