A missing Airdrie schoolboy has sparked a frantic police search to find him.
Corey Weallans vanished yesterday at around 3pm and was last seen at Faraday Retail Park.
The 15-year-old has now been missing overnight leaving police desperate to find him.
Detectives confirmed he recently travelled to the Livingston area and may still be there.
Corey is described as being around 5ft 4in, medium build, and short blonde hair.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a green Nike tracksuit top and bottoms with blue and grey trainers.
Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to trace Corey Weallans who has been reported missing from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.
“The 15-year-old was last seen at Faraday Retail Park, Coatbridge, around 3pm on Tuesday, 2 May, 2023. However, he may be, or has recently been, in the Livingston area.”
Anyone who has seen Corey or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact 101, quoting reference 0563 of 3 May 2023.
