ScotRail is to scrap peak fares on a popular Glasgow route.
The 08:07 service from Largs to Glasgow will be classed as off-peak from Monday, May 22.
This means that customers travelling from Largs, Fairlie and West Kilbride will be able to travel to Glasgow and be in the city by 9.15am by paying for an off-peak ticket.

It comes as rail bosses have implemented a new timetable beginning today (May, 21).
Trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh (via Falkirk High) will be increased to a 15-minute frequency on Saturdays.
A small number of additional daytime services will operate on the Cathcart Circle in South Glasgow, and subject to drivers completing their training, this will be increased to an hourly service from December.
The number of fast services between Glasgow and Gourock that operate out with peak periods will be removed from the timetable.
