A NEW restaurant has opened in a city centre shopping mall.
American restaurant Philly Steaks 'N' Shakes has opened in St Enoch Centre, serving an authentic Philadelphia-style menu including fully loaded fries, moreish mac and cheese, and the legendary Philly cheesesteak hoagie.
The Philly cheesesteak - which was voted the third top food export from the US by CNN Travel in 2021 - is traditionally comprised of steak strips loaded with caramelised onions and American cheese and served in a long soft bun.

Anne Ledgerwood, centre director, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Philly Steaks ‘N’ Shakes to St Enoch Centre.
"With its cool Americana theme, fun menu and good value, Philly Steaks ‘N’ Shakes offers something new and exciting for city centre visitors and is a fantastic addition."
Syma, owner of Philly Steaks ‘N’ Shakes, added: "We are proud to be opening our doors in top city centre destination St Enoch Centre this year and are confident that Philly Steaks ‘N’ Shakes’ delicious food and fun atmosphere will be a great fit."
