Glasgow has been captured enjoying the sunshine as temperatures rise.
Glaswegians gathered at the sunny spots today to make the most of the heatwave, which brought temperatures of 23°C, according to the Met Office.
Pictures taken by Glasgow Time photographers showed friends and families basking in the sun as the city continues to heat up.
Groups were seen having water fights while others enjoyed ice-cream scones and sunbathing at Glasgow parks.
Forecasters are predicting the warm weather is set to last with more summer afternoons ahead of us this week.
This could see highs of 23°C to 19°C are expected every day with very low chances of rain and wind.
For this weekend the Met Office predicted Glasgow weather to be “very warm”.
They said: “Remaining dry with plenty of sunshine over the coming days, any overnight low cloud burning off through the morning.
“Feeling warm, locally very warm.”
