Celtic hero Chris Sutton reunited with a former teammate at an Irish pub.

The former striker, 50, visited Egans in Kilkenny, Ireland recently with his son Olly.

He shared a photo of their visit with his Twitter followers as they were joined by Alan Thompson, who was part of the Celtic squad who made it to Seville in 2003.

Sutton wrote: "Tremendous evening in Egans in Kilkenny with a Guinness and Olly and my old teammate Alan."

Fans were loving the reunion, with one commenting: "In my lifetime as a supporter, you two gave me my best memories along with that squad."

Another wrote: "Got some time with Thommo at last year's convention in Vegas, great guy!"

A third added: "Good to see you over here Chris, enjoy the black stuff."

It comes after we reported that the BT Sport pundit is said to be moving to Sky Sports where he will join Kris Boyd.
