A LOCAL salon group has been shortlisted for three awards at a national hairdressing competition.
Rainbow Room International's creative team have been finalised for Artistic Team of the Year at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards, which are sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
Meanwhile, Suzie McGill, international artistic director and director of the Uddingston salon has been shortlisted for the coveted title of Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year, while Diana Carson, Consultant Designer at the Uddingston salon, is through to the final of the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year category.

Judged anonymously by over 100 leading hairdressers, the winners are set to be announced during a red-carpet ceremony on Monday, November 27 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.
Suzie McGill said: "These awards always bring together such exceptional talent and to see our salon and our names alongside those shortlisted is a true honour.
"I am so proud to have a space on the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame for winning the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year category three times and it would be incredible for Diana to win this award and for us to continue to fly the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year flag.
"To bring all three trophies back to Scotland would be incredible and we hope the judges will recognise the love and hard work that has gone into our collections and the ongoing creativity and passion our Rainbow Room International team have."
