A MANHUNT is underway after a driver and passenger fled from the scene of a crash.
Cops were called to the junction of King Street and Blairhill Street in Coatbridge at around 6.30pm yesterday following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
The driver and passenger of one vehicle left the scene after the collision.
Police searched the vehicle and found a quantity of cocaine.
Enquiries are ongoing to try and locate the two people.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 6.30pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 officers were made aware of a two-vehicle crash at the junction of King Street and Blairhill Street, Coatbridge.
"The driver and passenger of one vehicle did not remain with their vehicle, and upon searching the car a quantity of cocaine was found.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate the two people."
