A MAN is due to appear in court after more than £400,000 worth of drugs were recovered in Glasgow. 

The find comes after cops executed a search warrant on Dalness Street in Tollcross on Wednesday, September 6. 

During the search, quantities of heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis were found with an estimated street value of £413,000.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. 

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today. 

Detective Inspector Murray Owen said: "This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

"Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from the community.
