AN investigation remains ongoing after a cyclist was hit by a car and the vehicle's occupants fled the scene.
We previously reported a male cyclist was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the collision which took place on Dennistoun's Duke Street shortly before 10am.
His condition is not known.
Cops confirmed on Monday the occupants of the car fled the scene on foot.
A spokesperson for the force today said enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: "Around 9.50am on Monday, September 4, 2023, police were called to the Duke Street area of Glasgow, following a report of a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
"The male cyclist has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"The occupants of the car left the scene on foot and emergency services remain in the area.
"Enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.”
