TWO people have been arrested and charged after a quantity of jewellery from properties in Paisley has been found in Glasgow.
It comes after officers executed a warrant at an address on Kenmore Street in the city's Shettleston area on Tuesday, October 17.
Following that, a 54-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman have been arrested and charged with alleged theft and reset.
The pair are set to appear in court today.
Detective Constable Jamie Howarth said: “A large number of items of jewellery has been recovered and enquiries are ongoing to identify who much of it belongs to.
“Enquiries suggest it may have been taken from a large number of properties in the Glasgow and Paisley areas over an extended timeframe.
“If you believe any of these items could belong to you or a family member please call 101, quoting reference 0975 of May 29, 2023.”
