EATERIES across Glasgow have been honoured at the Scottish Takeaway Awards 2023. 

Top names from Scotland's takeaway industry enjoyed a glamorous black-tie event on Monday, October 23 at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow where establishments which have shone bright in recent years were celebrated. 

A number of takeaways from both Glasgow and the surrounding areas won awards at the ceremony. 

The local winners were; 

  • Best of Glasgow - Asian Tandoori
  • Outstanding Takeaway of the Year - Pakistani Street Food, Victoria Road
  • Deli of the Year (Central) - The Roll Shop, Polmadie Road
  • Peri Peri Takeaway of the Year - Figo's Peri Peri, Kilmarnock Road
  • Street Food Trailer of the Year - MacTassos
  • Takeaway Kitchen of the Year - Lams Kitchen Chinese Takeaway, Lochdochart Road
  • Oriental Takeaway of the Year - Lams Kitchen Chinese Takeaway, Lochdochart Road
  • Sandwich Shop of the Year - Bite Me Sandwich Bar, Paisley Road West
  • Breakfast Takeaway of the Year - Bite Me Sandwich Bar, Paisley Road West
  • Roll Bar of the Year - Rugeln Rolls, Rutherglen
  • Restaurant Takeaway of the Year - McMonagles in Clydebank
  • Kebab Takeaway of the Year (South West) - Polski Kebab in Motherwell
  • Kebab Takeaway of the Year (Overall Winner) - Polski Kebab in Motherwell
  • World Cuisine Takeaway of the Year - The Ladz in Coatbridge
