A SCHOOLBOY has been charged with the alleged serious assault of a man in Glasgow.
We previously reported how 999 crews were called to a report of an incident at Moulin Circus, Cardonald, on Tuesday night.
Shortly after 7pm, a man, aged 44 was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
A boy, aged 13, has now been charged in connection with the serious assault.
He is due to appear in court today.
However, police say enquiries into the incident continue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 13-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a serious assault which occurred around 7.05pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Moulin Circus, Cardonald.
“A 44-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“The boy is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
