A PRISONER at Glasgow's HMP Barlinnie has died.
Alexander Fulton, who was on remand after an appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, passed away on November 7, 2023.
Police Scotland has been advised about the death of the 37-year-old.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and a Fatal Accident Inquiry will take place at a later date.
A statement published by the Scottish Prison Service said: "Alexander Fulton, 37, a prisoner at HMP Barlinnie has died on November 7, 2023.
"He was remanded at Glasgow Sheriff Court in 2023.
"Police Scotland has been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
