With not too long to go until we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in the new year, now is the time to start planning your Hogmanay celebrations in Glasgow.

Glasgow, much like other Scottish cities, knows how to party in late December with dozens of fantastic events to choose from.

Party of the Year at Merchant Square

Merchant Square's Party of the Year is back and features a number of exciting bars and restaurants as well as a variety of entertaining acts and shows.

From the French Fling Showgirls and music from Dramboogie, DJ Colin McArdle, the event's host, will see you through to the end of 2023.

Tickets will cost £30 per person and can only be purchased over the phone or in person.

Sum Disco at Mamasan Glasgow

For an evening combining "delicious food, premium drinks and floor-filling" house and classic disco tunes from amazing DJs, Mamasan on Ingram Street is the place to be.

The event is £55 per person with each guest able to enjoy three small plates of food or one large as well as four luxury drinks and bubbles for the bells.

Now sold out, revellers at Sloans on Argyle Street will bring in the bells with a good old-fashioned ceilidh (including a live ceilidh band!) along with a glass of fizz, half a bottle of wine and a hot breakfast roll for after the celebrations.

Gatsby Hogmanay Party

For a little "Gatsby style glitz and glamour," the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central, may be worth a look in.

Radio Clyde's very own Garry Spence will create a fantastic evening including everything from feather showgirls to live performances from the hotel's very own seven-piece swing band.

AXM Hogmanay Party

One of Glasgow's most popular LGBTQ clubs AXM is throwing a New Year's bash with nothing but "back-to-back anthems" and "good vibes only," according to the event's organisers.
