A teenager has been arrested after a boy was allegedly attacked outside a Glasgow school.
We previously reported how a 14-year-old boy was assaulted outside the entrance of Lourdes Secondary School on Friday, January 12.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment while police taped off Kirriemuir Avenue after the incident happened at around 1.55pm in Cardonald, in the city's Southside.
Now a 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report that a 14-year-old boy had been assaulted on Kirriemuir Avenue, Glasgow, around 1.55pm on Friday, 12 January, 2024.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment “A 13-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the incident.
“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
