Glasgow has been named one of the "coolest" places to visit in the world this year, being listed alongside Salvador, San Francisco and more.
The list was compiled by travel experts writing for Stylist magazine who sought to share their "ultimate cheat sheet on where to holiday this year".
Speaking of the guide, the publication said: "If, three weeks into 2024, you’re already dreaming about booking a holiday, you’re not alone. Aside from a lot of very opinionated conversations about The Traitors, fantasising about booking a holiday has been dominating office conversation this month.
"What’s become clear, though, is that much like picking a Netflix series to embark on, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the endless potential options."

Speaking of the Scottish city, Stylist Magazine said: "Glasgow is the perfect destination," adding that "It’s easily accessible by train."
"Aside from having been named the world’s friendliest city, it’s also a hub of cultural goings on.
"A visit in January means you’ll arrive just in time to see the last stint of A Quiet Fire, an exhibition by Malawian artist Billie Zangewa (which closes on 28 January) at Tramway, a cool art studio on the south side of the city."
Speaking about the city's many attractions, it said: "For an idyllic dose of greenery, the city’s indoor botanic gardens will provide a nature fix without exposing you to the wintry temperatures outside and, in the evening, you’ll want to visit the iconic, neon-clad Barrowland Ballroom for musical performances in a legendary venue.
For a place to stay, the magazine recommended the Boutique 50, "a 10-bedroom hotel in the city’s West End that’s a stone’s throw away from leafy riverside Kelvingrove Park and its art gallery."
For food, "Five March, a popular small plates spot just down the road from Boutique 50," was recommended.
"Expect to-die-for fried potatoes with aioli and breadcrumb-topped heirloom tomatoes you’ll want to recreate at home immediately upon returning."
