A MAN has died following an incident involving a boat in Clydebank.
Emergency services were called to Rothesay Dock on Dock Street on the afternoon of Friday, January 19.
A 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is underway, but police have said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Friday, January 19, 2024, we attended a boat near Dock Street, Clydebank.
"A 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing, however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
A Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokesperson said: "Coastguard rescue teams from Greenock and Helensburgh as well as the RNLI's inshore lifeboat from Helensburgh supported Police Scotland with an incident at Rothesay dock, Clydebank, on January 19.
"HM Coastguard was alerted at about 4.25pm.
"The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were also informed."
