A popular plant based Chinese restaurant is opening in Glasgow.
Wawin Vegan Chinese has arrived in the city marking its first location in Scotland.
The restaurant will be based in the Southside on Scotland Street and operate as takeaway only at the moment.
The restaurant said: “We Are Proud Creators Of 100% Vegan, 100% Delicious and 100% Authentic Chinese Food.
“Adding another branch to our existing five sites in Manchester, Leeds, York, Sheffield and Nottingham, we are excited to bring the amazing people of Glasgow what we have to offer.”
Confirming the news on Facebook the establishment said: “Exciting news!
“Wawin Vegan Chinese has arrived in Glasgow, marking its first location in Scotland.
“This is just the beginning, with more sites soon to follow.
“Exclusive on Deliveroo.”
Excited customers were quick to respond to their post One person said: “Praying you guys bring vegan soup dumplings to Scotland.”
A second person said: “Omg I had it down in Leeds and it was amazing!!!”
A third person said: “I've been to this in York, food was delicious.”
A fourth person said: “Can't wait to try this!”
