A new one-day music festival which will showcase emerging Scottish talent has been launched.

The festival, called Houses is the creation of Glasgow's SWG3 and Tenement TV.

Among the performers set to grace the stage are JusHarry, K4CIE, Nicky Lipp, Psweatpants, Queen of Harps, Rory James, and Voodoos, with more acts still to be announced.

Marked down for May 11, Houses will transform one of the city's most popular music venues into an interactive open house, featuring five distinct rooms for visitors to explore, each offering a different genre.

The all-day event aims to be a platform for indie musicians, rappers, DJs, and other alternative artists to connect directly with the public, potentially discovering their new favourite performers.

There will be multiple indoor and outdoor stages and in addition to the music, there will be a selection of food and drink available.

Tenement TV, Scotland's biggest music platform, has a history of highlighting young talent that goes on to achieve national acclaim - their credentials include supporting the early careers of Lewis Capaldi, Hozier, Sam Fender, and Bastille.

Early bird tickets for those on the mailing list will be on sale from 9am on February 2, with general sale starting at 10am on the same day.
