Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist and hit song-maker Cammy Barnes will perform at Hamilton Park on September 22.

Barnes  will perform at the South Lanarkshire resort at the USave Utility Contracts Raceday with £1,000 cash prize up for grabs.

Aside from his performance, the resort will also host post-racing entertainment including Hamilton Park's Got Talent contest making its return after 10 years.

He is known for his British number one hit Bonnies Song.

His single, inspired by his daughter, soared past big names such as Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, and Miley Cyrus in the UK iTunes Charts in August.

Ashley Moon, Racecourse managing director at Hamilton Park, said: "We’re always delighted to welcome new Scottish talent to Hamilton Park and Cammy Barnes is sure to put on a great show as the head artist on an evening where we’re shining the light on fresh, local talent as part of our own search for a star.

"Whether you're a seasoned performer or a hidden gem waiting to be discovered, Hamilton Park’s Got Talent is your chance to shine under the spotlight.

"So, start polishing your act, gather your confidence, and get ready to wow the judges and audience alike.

"We’ll be releasing further details on how to enter later in the summer, so watch this space."
