Dragons' Den stars are coming to Glasgow after turning down three offers.

Fashion pioneers, Unfolded, have plans to launch a sustainable pop-up shop in Princes Square this weekend.

The brand appeared on the BBC last year, receiving praise and multiple funding offers for their innovative waste free clothing model.

Now Glasgow shoppers can check out their affordable pieces for themselves and learn how the company is changing the industry.

Funding from the event will also go towards helping children in India to learn to read and write.

The pop-up is running from 10am until 5pm on Saturday, February 24 and 11am until 5pm on Sunday, February 25.

Shoppers visiting the ground floor pop-up will be able to meet the team, try on samples from the latest collection, as well as grabbing up to 50% off previous collections in a sample sale.

In only two years Unfolded has developed a loyal shopping community of over 100k+ women across the UK, turned down three Dragons, and attracted wide acclaim for their waste-free fashion approach from media such as This Morning, Lorraine and Glamour magazine.

Normally Unfolded clothes are only available online so this pop-up in Glasgow gives those new to the brand the chance to view the quality of the clothes while learning more about the fashion industry and the positive impact shopping with Unfolded delivers.

The latest collection was co-created by over 5000 shoppers in the Unfolded community, who have helped with every design element of the collection - from prints, to styles to fit.

Cally Russell, co-founder Unfolded explains more, “As someone originally from Lanark it’s great to bring the Unfolded pop-up experience back to the West Coast of Scotland.

“Sustainable fashion is often seen as an exclusive and expensive offering - with Unfolded we’ve built a brand that’s powered by our community and offers prices that compete with traditional brands - all whilst doing some serious good in the world at the same time.

“I can’t wait to see what the people of Glasgow make of our most recent collection”.

Katie Moody, Centre Director, Princes Square, commented: “We are thrilled to be hosting Unfolded’s first Glasgow pop-up and sample sale.

“We love the ethos behind this Scottish sustainable brand and how they are changing the industry, making it less wasteful and better for the planet.

"Up until now, the brand has only been available to buy online, now everyone can view the collections in person this weekend in Princes Square.”
