Teen has been arrested after a 13-year-old school boy was attacked in Glasgow.
A 17-year-old male has been charged in connection with a serious assault which happened in Queens Park, Glasgow on Friday, 8 March.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 13 March, 2024.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
We previously reported how a weekend park run in Glasgow was cancelled due to a police incident.
Queen's Parkrun shared the update on their social media pages saying: "Alert, cancelled due to police incident. Please, do not come to the park."
999 crews were spotted on Victoria Road, near the park over the weekend.
A blue tape was put up as officers stood guard near the scene and several police vehicles were spotted.
Detective Inspector Phillip Kennedy said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance with our investigation into this incident.”
