TWO people are due to appear in court after a firearm and £65,000 worth of drugs was seized by cops.
The discovery comes after police searched a property and vehicle in Bishopton on the evening of Thursday, Mach 21 as part of an operation.
Quantities of heroin, cannabis and cocaine were recovered.
Officers also found the firearm and a six-figure sum of cash.
A 57-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the find.
They are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, March 25.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: "This seizure highlights our continuing efforts to disrupt supply routes and protect those in our communities affected by the illicit drug trade.
"The operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
