A CITY restaurant has been named the 'best newcomer' at The Scottish Excellence Awards.
Celentano's, located on Cathedral Square, was awarded the Restaurant Newcomer of the Year Award on Thursday, March 21.
Chef Dean Parker and his wife Anna's Italian-inspired restaurant is set in the boutique Cathedral House Hotel, near Glasgow Cathedral,

Dean was also a finalist in the Chef of the Year category.
Celentano's was previously awarded the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand in 2023 and was included in Squaremeal's Top 100 restaurants.
