A musical quiz bingo held at a city hotel has raised more than 32,000 for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
Guests at the Hilton in Glasgow savoured an afternoon of entertainment, games and music by Scottish comedian and Heart FM Drivetime host Des Clarke, West End's leading lady Shona White and popular Scottish band BLEEKER.
CHAS parent Jennifer Stewart also spoke about the support and care the charity gave her following her son Luke's passing in 2018 at the age of eight.
Emma Campbell, events fundraiser at CHAS, said: "Special thanks must go to our parent speaker Jennifer who spoke so touchingly about how CHAS helped her family.
"Thanks also to everyone involved in making this event such a huge success including our volunteers, entertainers, prize donors, sponsors and of course all our wonderful guests for their incredible support.
“We are extremely pleased to announce that with the support of our guests, sponsors and prizes donors, we managed to raise an incredible £32,000 after costs which will go directly to our services.”
