More than three miles of a major road is to shut next month while works are carried out.
The eastbound carriageway of the A726 GSO (Glasgow Southern Orbital) will be shut from the Maidenhill Interchange to Belle Craig Roundabout.
The closure will be in place over two consecutive nights from 8pm to 6am between Monday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 17.
The stretch is being shut to allow for the safe operation of lining works on or near the road.
The works are said to be weather dependent.
All vehicles will be subject to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
The diversion in place will be as follows: A77 Ayr Road – Eaglesham Road – Mearns Road – Waterfoot Road – B767 Eaglesham Road/Glasgow Road – A726 GSO.
