A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was attacked in a park in Alexandria.
Emergency services responded to the scene at Christie Park following reports of an assault at around 12.25pm.
Local residents reported that the area had been taped off on social media.
Officers confirmed that a 32-year-old man had been taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, police received a report of the assault of a 32-year-old man at Christie Park in Alexandria.
"The man attended hospital for treatment and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
