A MAN has been arrested after a drug raid at a flat in Dalmuir.
Officers from Clydebank Community Unit executed a drugs search warrant at an address within West Court shortly before 5pm on April 4.
Police said they had to use force to gain entry to the property. There was no one home at the time.
A search of the flat allegedly uncovered a cannabis cultivation within one of the rooms where several mature plants were seized along with associated equipment.
Further checks of the home reportedly found quantities of green herbal material.
During the raid, the 46-year-old male tenant returned home.
He was arrested and taken to Clydebank police station where he was charged in connection with the alleged production of a controlled drug.
Police say the potential value of the drugs that were allegedly recovered is around £7000.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
