A TEENAGER was "stabbed" in Glasgow city centre in broad daylight.
The 13-year-old boy was attacked at around 1.20pm yesterday (April 11) on St Mungo Avenue in the Townhead area.
It is understood he was stabbed.
The youth was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
He was later released.
Police said an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are investigating a serious assault which happened around 1.20pm on April 11 on St Mungo Avenue in the Townhead area of Glasgow.
"A 13-year-old male youth was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
