A much-loved English singer-songwriter is set to host a gig in Glasgow - and it will include special guests.

Paul Heaton will take the stage at the city's OVO Hydro on Sunday, December 1, 2024, as part of his UK tour.

During the tour, the well-known artist will perform songs from throughout his career including classic tracks from The Beautiful South and the Housemartins.

The 62-year-old - who is from Cheshire - is known for being the frontman of the Housemartins.

The group were known for their hits including Happy Hour, Caravan of Love, and Build.

He is also known for forming The Beautiful South in 1988.

The band were known for their tunes such as Rotterdam, A Little Time, Perfect 10, and many more.

Now, Paul is known for his solo music career.

During it, the musician has released songs including D.I.Y, I Gotta Praise, You and Me, The Austerity Of Love, and many more.

At the show in Glasgow, Paul will be joined by two special guests - Scottish singer Rianne Downey and The Zutons.

Meanwhile, the concert also comes as the singer-songwriter is set to release his brand-new solo album - The Mighty Several on October 11.

Tickets for the event will go on sale from Friday, June 28, at 9.30am.
