A CRASH on a busy Glasgow motorway has prompted an emergency response.
999 crews are said to have responded to the scene on the M8 westbound at junctions 11 (Stepps) and 12 (Riddrie) shortly before 7pm on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland announced that lanes one and two of the carriageway were closed but have since reopened.
Drivers are being warned that there is a slight build-up of traffic on approach.
