A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was assaulted inside a bar in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services were called to St Vincent Lane at around 7.35pm yesterday evening following a report of the man having been assaulted within a premises on St Vincent Lane.
The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be checked over.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.35pm on Tuesday, August 27, we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted within a bar in St Vincent Lane, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be checked over.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
