RESIDENTS were evacuated from their homes after a "potentially hazardous substance" was found.
Police attended a flat on Balbeggie Street in the Sandyhills area at around 10.20pm last night where they discovered a small cannabis cultivation and the substance.
As a precaution, some residents from nearby flats were evacuated moved.

They have since been allowed to return home.
A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drug offences.
Police said enquiries remain ongoing and there is no wider risk to the public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.20pm on Friday, September 13, we attended a flat on Balbeggie Street, Glasgow, and discovered a small cannabis cultivation and potentially hazardous substances within.
"As a precaution, residents from some nearby flats were temporarily moved but have since returned to their homes.
"There is no wider risk to the public.
"A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences and enquiries are ongoing."
