BBC Radio Scotland's presenters are gearing up for a swim challenge for BBC Children in Need at a leisure centre in Bearsden.
Radio stations across the UK are teaming up to swim in the Thousand Mile Swim Challenge a total of 1,000 miles in five days, equal to 64,000 lengths of a 25-metre pool.
Presenters Michelle McManus, Zara Janjua, Gary Innes, Jane Lewis, and David Currie are set to take the plunge at the Allander Leisure Centre.
Each presenter will swim one mile per day, contributing to the overall target.
The challenge kicks off at 8am on November 4, and runs until November 8.
Scottish swimming champion Ross Murdoch, who represented Team GB at the 2016 Summer Olympics, will be cheering the team on from the sidelines and providing expert advice.
Cameron Miekelson, chief commissioner of Scot Squad, will also be present to keep any troublemakers at bay.
Listeners can keep track of the team's progress on BBC Radio Scotland each day, or by streaming on BBC Sounds, or on the station's social media platforms.
The week-long challenge will culminate in a special Children in Need programme, presented by Jackie Bird, on BBC Scotland at 10pm on November 15.
The programme will not only showcase the presenters' challenge but also share inspiring stories from children and young people across Scotland who have benefitted from the funds raised through BBC Children in Need.
