Glasgow Airport has issued a new warning after a 'significant level of flights' have been cancelled amid Storm Eowyn.
The extreme storm is set to batter the country with strong winds and rain on Friday, January 24.
Yesterday, we reported how the Met Office issued a red weather warning for central Scotland for today.

The forecaster said 'very strong winds' would cause 'very dangerous conditions and significant disruption on Friday' across Glasgow and the West.
Storm Eowyn is expected to bring winds of up to 90mph.
Now, Glasgow Airport has revealed they are 'limiting operations' from 10am until 5pm today following the 'significant level of flight cancellations' due to the red weather alert.

The social media post read: "Passenger notice - Glasgow Airport is limiting airport operations from 10am to 5pm on Friday, January 24 following the significant level of flight cancellations as a result of the red weather alert due to Storm Eowyn.
"We advise passengers to check with their airline for up-to-date flight information during this period of weather disruption before travelling."
