Neil Lennon's son has been released by St Mirren.

Gallagher Lennon, 19, joined the club two years ago.

He moved from Partick Thistle in 2023 but had loans at Linlithgow Rose, Dumbarton, Annan, and Bonnyrigg Rose.

He made 16 League Two appearances for Bonnyrigg but couldn't stop their drop into the Lowland League.

His contract is now up, and Stephen Robinson hasn't kept him on for the first team.

Lennon is now looking for a new club.

Neil Lennon's future is also uncertain after he joined Dunfermline last season on a short-term basis.

He helped keep them up and is in talks with the Championship club about staying longer.

He told the Daily Record: "I had conversations with the powers that be on Friday.

"The club has a lot of things to look at in terms of budgets."
