A yellow weather warning has been issued for thunderstorms and heavy rain in Glasgow this weekend.
The Met Office expects showers to sweep across the city from midnight to 6pm on Saturday, June 14.
Thunderstorms are also forecast to develop over much of Scotland, including Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, and West Dunbartonshire.

The forecaster is warning of some disruption during this time.
What to expect
- Spray and sudden flooding potentially leading to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
- A small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads.
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.
- A slight chance that power cuts could occur, and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
- A small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail, or strong winds.
- A small chance of fast-flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.
Rainfall will vary across the warning area, and some places will avoid the heaviest rain.
The Met Office also expects strong gusts and hail to accompany some of the thunderstorms.
