Birmingham are said to have opened talks with Rangers over signing Ben Davies on a permanent transfer.
Left-sided centre back Davies spent last season on loan at the Blues, helping them to the League One title and promotion back to the Championship and impressing with his performances.
Fans really took to the 29-year-old Gers misfit and would love to see him back for the campaign ahead in the second tier.
He made 44 appearances in all and 3,663 minutes, often keeping club captain Krystian Bielik on the bench.
Birmingham World is now reporting the Midlands club have opened talks designed to take him there permanently.

ReThey are unwilling to pay over the odds for a player who has just one year left on his deal and it may take around £2 million to land him.
The report states that Rangers are set to "muddy the waters" though with new manager Russell Martin keen to cast an eye on Davies in training before making a decision.
That applies to Kieran Dowell too, who also spent last season on loan at St Andrews.
Birmingham have him as a permanent signing target also, but it is said he is not seen to be as much of a priority as Davies.
