Trainspotting star set to appear in hometown comic con – Glasgow

Robert Carlyle, one of Scotland's most celebrated actors who is also known for his roles in The Full Monty, 28 Weeks Later, and The World Is Not Enough, will be a star guest at the event at the SEC on September 6.

The actor, born and raised in Glasgow, has a career spanning over three decades with memorable roles in both film and television.

Speaking about the event, organisers said: "Robert Carlyle is a true Scottish legend, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him home to Glasgow.

The session, hosted by Still Game actor Gavin Mitchell, will revolve around Carlyle's extraordinary career.
