Lewis Capaldi has been surprised with a special gift from Irn-Bru ahead of his Glasgow homecoming.
The Scottish singer was sent a hand-engraved guitar plectrum by the popular soft drink brand ahead of his two sold-out shows at the OVO Hydro, where he is set to perform in front of almost 30,000 fans across two nights.
Inscribed with Irn-Bru’s iconic slogan Made in Scotland from Girders, the plectrum celebrates Capaldi’s first Glasgow performance after a two-year break from music.

Capaldi is the first person to be honoured by Irn-Bru since it revived the well-known phrase.
Kenny Nicholson, brand director at Irn-Bru, said: “Lewis Capaldi truly epitomises what it means to be Made in Scotland from Girders.
“It’s fantastic to see him back in action, in front of a home crowd, and this plectrum has been created to mark his momentous occasion.
“We wish you the best!”
