A man has been arrested following an investigation into a crash which claimed the life of a woman in Clydebank last year.

Kellylee Robson, 56, died at the scene after being struck by a car on Dumbarton Road on November 7, 2024.

Emergency services raced to the scene at around 5.40pm between the junctions of Hawick Street and Mill Road.

A 58-year-old man who was the driver of the Volkswagen Amarok, which struck her, was not injured, nor were the passengers of the car.

He has now been arrested and charged and is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 58-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into a fatal road crash in Clydebank.

"The crash happened around 5.40pm on Thursday, 7 November, 2024 on Dumbarton Road, where a 56-year-old pedestrian was struck by a Vokswagen Amarok.

"The pedestrian, 56-year-old Kellylee Robson, died following the crash.

"The 58-year-old man is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal."
