A Clydebank theatre student has landed a role in a Christmas panto.
Danielle Barbour, 27, has joined the cast of A Christmas Carol at the Platform theatre in Glasgow’s East End.
Danielle is currently in her third year of a BA in Theatre Industry and Practice, delivered in partnership by Glasgow Kelvin College and the University of the Highlands and Islands.
She joins the ensemble cast which plays a range of parts, including roles in Carols Clothes Shop, night-time spirits and family and friends of Carol Scrooge.

Danielle said: "I’m really excited to be working with a professional cast and production team and learning as much as I can from them.
"It’s a great opportunity and it’s nice to be helping spread some festive joy."
The show, running from December 2 to 24, features 36 performances and offers a fun, family-friendly take on the classic tale, reimagined with a female lead.
Its lead cast includes Sarah McCardie as Carol Scrooge, Adam Buksh as Bob Cratchitt, Ava Hickey as Freddy Scrooge, and Scott Miller as the Ghost.
The production is written by Lewis Hetherington, directed by Rosalind Sydney, and presented by Platform in association with Glasgow Kelvin College.

Matt Addicott, artistic director of Platform, said: "Platform is delighted to be working with students from the BA Theatre Industry and Practice course, which is being run collaboratively with Glasgow Kelvin College and the University of the Highlands and Islands.
"Joining the cast of A Christmas Carol is a fantastic opportunity for the students to work with highly experienced professional performers, directors, designers, choreographers, vocal coaches, technicians, and stage managers.
"Whilst for our audiences, it's a real treat to see the stage full of such talented and enthusiastic performers.
"We wish them every success with the show and the rest of their studies and beyond."
