A young rugby player has received sponsorship support to help launch his sporting career.

Ciaran Swan, 18, from East Kilbride, has been backed by housebuilder Bellway Homes who provided sponsorship for him to buy a game day kit and a bag.

The youngster, who has played rugby since he was just seven years old, recently made his debut in the hooker position.
