Five Glasgow streets to close this month as popular city venues host Hogmanay events.

Buff Club is taking over Bath Lane and four of its floors, throwing a Hogmanay lane party, causing disruption in three streets.

The club plans to close down the lane and bring in a stage, DJs and an outdoor bar.

To ensure public safety, there will be a prohibition of vehicle movements as well as a prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading from 5pm on December 31 until 5am on January 1 will be in place on Bath Lane, between West Campbell Street and Blythswood Street.

These roads will also face a prohibition on waiting, loading and unloading during vehicle movements.

Additionally, the well-known Ashton Lane and George Lane will also be closed to all traffic from 2pm on New Year's Eve until 3am on January 1.

A prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading will also be in place during this time.
