A wildlife cameraman and presenter is coming to Glasgow as part of his “My Life Behind The Lens” tour.
Hamza Yassin, also a Strictly Come Dancing winner, will be at the Pavilion Theatre on April 29.
He is known for presenting Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles, Hamza’s Strictly Birds of Prey, on Countryfile and Animal Park, winning Strictly in 2022, and the CBeebies’ TV series Ranger Hamza.

His first appearance as a BBC presenter was on The One Show, as one of their wildlife cameramen, as well as taking on the role of one of the regular presenters on Countryfile and Animal Park. Hamza became well known for his love of wildlife.
The presenter has now also released his first book, “Be a Birder: The joy of birdwatching and how to get started” which was published in 2023. It's a book where Hamza shares his stories of birdwatching over the years as well as teaching beginner birders his personal tips and tricks to get started.
Hamza has loved the great outdoors and being in nature from his earliest days, growing up in Sudan before moving to the UK as a young child. He claims the love he has for outdoors and wildlife is a childlike wonder he has never grown out of.
He said: “What has been brilliant so far with my own tour is realising this is a chance for me to say, ‘thank you’ to people who have supported me, through Strictly and everything I have done since.”
