Ally McCoist has claimed Celtic 'run' Scottish football as he fumed at the arrangement of the top six fixtures.

Earlier, we told how Alan Brazil had predicted his radio pal would be "spitting feathers" at the perception that Celtic have a kinder run of fixtures than Hearts and Rangers for the title run-in.

The legendary former striker has now confirmed that.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "You couldn't get a bet on them [Celtic] having a home fixture for their final game of the season..."

Gabby Agbonlahor asked: 'Why does that always happen? Why?"

McCoist went on: "Well, they are running the thing up here aren't they? That's why. They are absolutely running it, mate. They have got four of the last six at home, and we have got four of six away - you couldn't make it up pal.

"They are playing Hearts in the final game of the season, imagine one of them needs to win to stop us winning the league - do you think it will happen? You better believe it will happen."

McCoist went on to discuss the title race and was quizzed on who he thinks will win it.

He admitted: "All kidding aside, I think it is just so tough to call. I don't think there is any doubt that there is probably more momentum with Rangers, but see when we come down to the crunch... I think Rangers have a really tough game at the weekend against one of the teams of the year [Falkirk] and one of the managers of the year [John McGlynn].

"We have got to go to Falkirk twice. It's brilliant, it's a three-way title race. I think there is still a lot of points to be dropped. I can't see anyone winning all the games, I really can't."
