Police are investigating reports of vandalism and racist graffiti at a cup final at Partick Thistle’s Firhill stadium.
Fans left the Championship side’s stadium with damaged seats and graffiti, which the club said was “racist in nature.”
The stadium was hosting the KDM Evolution Trophy final on Sunday, between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Raith Rovers.
The graffiti and damage is understood to have been discovered in the John Lambie Stand and the Jackie Husband Stand where Raith Rovers fans were housed.

Partick Thistle issued a statement following the discovery of the damage.
It said: “During our hosting of the KDM Evolution Trophy final on Sunday, parts of the John Lambie and Jackie Husband Stands were damaged by visiting supporters.
"When our operations team inspected the stands on Monday morning that had been occupied by both sets of fans, they found damage to just under 100 seats.
"Significant graffiti was also discovered in the John Lambie Stand toilet facilities.
Some of that graffiti was racist in nature. We have reported the matter to Police Scotland and are assisting with their enquiries.”
The club has cleared the graffiti and is repairing the damage to the seats.
It added: “Our club is built on clear values of inclusion, respect and bringing people together. Racism, hate, discrimination and division of any kind have no place.
“We believe in a better society, one where people come together rather than being pulled apart by prejudice and hatred.
“We have moved quickly to deal with the damage. Once the necessary evidence had been gathered, most of the graffiti was removed by Tuesday evening, and the remaining repair work is being completed as quickly as possible.”
The graffiti was left in toilets and on seats in the stands.
Raith Rovers FC issued a statement on its website, condemning the damage.
It said: “We are aware of images circulating on social media showing damage caused inside the Wyre Stadium at Firhill by so-called Raith Rovers supporters within our allocation on Sunday.
“We are appalled by this behaviour and condemn it in the strongest possible terms.
“We will be speaking with Partick Thistle and the SPFL tomorrow to investigate and identify those involved.”
