Man arrested after woman taken to hospital in Killin Street crash

A man has been arrested following a two-vehicle crash on Killin Street in Glasgow on Friday, April 17.

The collision happened around 7.55 am and involved a 56-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital for assessment.

Police said the driver of one vehicle left the scene but was traced shortly after.

A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "“Around 7.55am on Friday, 17 April, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Killin Street in Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended, and a 56-year-old woman was taken to hospital for assessment.

“The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene prior to police arrival but was traced a short time later.

“The man, aged 41, was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence and enquiries are ongoing.”
