Danny Rohl has expressed his desire to have Rangers fans at Parkhead for the upcoming Old Firm derby.
The SPFL is expected to decide on whether Celtic should provide rival tickets for the away end a week on Sunday.
This follows the widespread trouble seen during the Scottish Cup match at Ibrox.
Celtic had previously offered tickets to Rangers on the condition they weren't sold to "ultras," the Union Bears, but this was declined, resulting in no tickets being allotted.

From a personal standpoint, Rohl wants the team fans' support, yet he says supporters are what make football.
Rohl said: "Of course we hope to have all our supporters with us.
"In general, such a game should always have great supporters on both sides.
"I think that makes the football really exciting.
"That's the reason why we love the sport.
"But it's not my job to decide this.
"I can just cross my fingers and hope that everything goes well in our direction as well."
